Dolphin help

Hmm whats this about Dolphin 6? What will the features be?I just got the 5.6 about a month or so ago. I like it but I need a few more features that wont cost an arm and a leg. Im willing to donate somethng but the mods I see are way to expensive. Plus I cant find mods that I need.  I post on the forums but no one responds. I wont be making any money off my site to help generate income so I cant break my bank. I really like this script its easy to work with, but Im no good at coding for what I need. Please can someone help me?

    Dolphin 6 will come with a load of improvements. Completely renewed site layout/structure. New default template, new admin panel, and finally, full-blown Groups (very similar to those at MySpace).

    Will Dolphin 6 have streaming audio and video? That would be nice!

    For streaming audio/video you would need a media server installed. This is what Ray Suite is for. So, to answer your question, Dolphin, per se, will not have streaming video/audio capabilities by default, but those may be added by installing Ray Suite.

    Please browse this blog for this info. In short: Groups, new admin system, new layout, new navigation, new site structure, better Orca integration, faster engine, optimized DB.

    I been monitoring the blogs pertaining to Dolphine 6 and from what I can see the options to disable or limit fields pertaining to dating site such as heights and weithgs relationship fields wont be available.

    i tired many way to deter my site from turning into a dating site but with no sucess. Profiles alwasy comes across as a dating profiles. This is because of the profile page.

    just my opinion, dolphine 6 software can never be used as a social community software as long as those fields appear

    let me know if im wrong and i hope i am.

    looking at facebook, the information is very general.

    We are working on making Dolphin as universal as possible. Even after beta 1 we will be accepting suggestions for major changes, which we will gladly implement in order to make the software work the way you need.

    Faster engine means optimized software backend. Chages that you won’t see, but they will improve overall site performance and server load. Dolphin is being increasingly used by popular community sites and optimization is often requested.
