Definitely, not a bug.
As you all should know Admin Demo is a sandbox. The access to the Admin Panel is publicly available. So everyone can change the default password, play with builders, fields which occasionally may lead to such accidents.
For this our Admin Demo is automatically reset periodically to the default set.

lol why someone would change the password in a sandbox demo is beyond me, cmon people cant you read?
