I been with boonex for almost a year and have to day you out done yourself in Dolphin 6. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy task keeping to the time line and all the bitching in the blog but in either case you did a good job with Dolphin 6. Thank you.
Question
I know Dolphin is designed to work as a dating site and as a community site. I read alot of blogs regarding the profile fiels and still abit confused. Dating site and community site is dictated by the contact in the profile, if i give users access to enter height, weight, body type, etc the site wouldd go towards the dating site but my objective is to have a community site(facebook, myspace). if i liminate fiels like height, weight it would go more towards a social site and any one can join.
saw this in one of your posting:
“Some fields are critical for normal Dolphin operation and can’t be deleted now, we plan however to do this in the final release.”
Is there a way to hide lot of the fiels related to dating such as height, weight, body type, etc??
another example is, relationship fields.. social community only needs single or not singel.

I posted this couple of months ago but not on sept 19
Well im sure that you can disable the certian menu objects, i have done that, you just have to goto the profile fields in the tools menu and click height for example and make sure that the manditory checkbox is not clicked, also their you can decide which pages you want it to be on, its allready been done and I have made it look like a simple myspace register form by elimiating those unneccisary fields
