Think that the profile comments are really essential for a perfect community. So i have some suggestions for you:
- Would be fine, if we can see the newest comment at the beginning of the profile-box (like myspace)
- Furthermore it would be nice if we can see the exactly posting date (and time). Think it would be better than e.g. 68 days ago
-What happen when there is a big number of comments on a profile. Would be fine that users can switch to all comments or to the next page (also like myspace)
If there are some other meanings on this topic, I am looking forward to discuss it in the comment area of this posting.

Make Meaning Or Die
100% agreed. Also Ning has this setup and it one of the foremost features for success of a network. Andrey, please include it 6.1

Agreed

Totally agree with that pele
I’m not 100% sure but I think that profiles with a lot of comment are very slow to display.
Good points. Added to DevZone. Just one is problematic - timestamp, well, for us it is easier to show exact date, but some other users requested the way it is now… Which is the better one?
As for me I like the current way 3 days ago, 6 days ago…
Hi Anddrey,
most of the big sites and blogs are using the timestamp directly. Like here in the comments area.
IMHO only to show “days” is not very useful, because then we will see “764 days” some time later.
If you are using the span-form, the way YouTube has done it(seconds, hours, days, months, years) will be better. But therefore you will have to write a specific function in the code.
Another drawback of direct timestamp is the need to ask for user timezone, or the time for recent comments would seem awkward for most parts of the world.
