Mail Error

There seems do be a bug in my Email. It is only shows the 1st few words. I have chesked the database, but all it shows is that I has the max set for 4500. Can I get a little help figuring this one out? Mail on the site is pointless without it. Thank you

    Simion, do you mean that your inbox shows you a cut-off mail message? But if you go to the database is there longer (full) one?

    I am asking this specs since the problem is a little bit confusing. And there is no such problem on BoonEx.us.
    I have received large E-mails there and was able to see them.

    Hi Victor,

    Both Zmoos and I experienced the same issue during testing. Here’s how Zmoos described it:

    “‘Site email inbox messages are cut-off at (or around) 55 characters. The ENTIRE message is included if the send chooses for it to send to the recipients personal email. But the message on the site itself is truncated, and cut-off. I’ve looked in th database, and only the shortened message is stored. So the problem has to do with what it wants to/can write to the database”

    Again we have tested mail messaging. I have attached the screen shot.

    As we see the message is not cut-off. Any more suggestions and details on how does it happen on your sites?

    Victor, you might want to try sending me one on boonex.us. My username is ‘TheRaguu’.

    I have about 7 messages on BoonEx.Us dated 10/21 with Zmoos that were cut off in the dolphin view but sent the whole email to my gmail account.

    It happens on my own site… and it happens in boonex.us for me too.

    Its a MAJOR problem. I hope somebody can come up with a quick fix for this, so we don’t have to wait until the next patch before being able to send/receive FULL messages.

    **** Update ****

    All emails on Oct 21 and 22nd were cut off (I can provide username/pw if you want to take a peek).

    Today Oct 24th, I received an entire message on BoonEx.us for the first time. My concern is the ticket #418 is still opened.

    Something had to change from then to now. Zmoos just verified the same thing.

    Ok SOMETHING has changed on Boonex.us, because we no longer have that problem. Because several of us had that problem on boonex.us, and still have the messages to prove it. Now it working fine on boonex.us

    But the reast of us CONTINUE to have this problem on our own sites. It didn’t just correct itself. Somebody had to have done something. Whatever it was, could you please share it with us? Our sites are in big trouble until this is functioning correctly.

    I just download from trunk the new compose.php and all the changes you have done last hours.

    I have test compose and again, the messages are truncated.
    As i said to Alex, the main problem is because of tinymce, because in the compose (at least i,) could find where to put ” tinyMCE.init({entity_encoding : “raw”,…) so in the database i have those “Ήτ α ν” and this characters count practical many “places”.

    Another problem i am still having (i know this topic is for orca, but…) is with tags in profile. As i saw in Profile table in db they have been commited, but it looks like something reject them
    and they are not in table Tag. I don’t know if someone else has this problem but after last rev. i am not able to change the profile tags. I can see them when i am editing my profile, but in view profile in the left of the word Tags: i have space.
    Please have a look before the final upload of this rev.
