can we add 2 more features like virtual money ($DD) & popularity score (e.g. 8567 shown next to the username) given by admin and circulated among users? i guess they are similar to credit system but different actually.

the credit system is pretty complex, you can add credits manually via phpMyAdmin, you can charge users to use certain features, mabey get creative and create ways to give users credits (ie: contests, giveaways ect.)
