Hello!
I am currently testing out Dolphin 6.003 ad. A/V on IM work perfectly, but it could need a button to open the camera properties to adjust camera settings like brightness, color etc.
But on a chat room only audio works. When I click to start video it shortly starts and then stops immediately …. any hints?
I have configured rms.boonex.com as Server
Also a question: how many A/V users can concurrently take part in a chat room simultaniously?

Just to let you know you are not alone on this, I have two test sites using the last two versions of Dolphin, both worked before (with delayed audio and echos), but now I have the same problem as you: the cam opens and immediately closes.
I have contracted for a VPS and feel Dolphin/Ray is ready for prime time as soon as I can solve this last bug.
Somebody’s trying to do too much somewhere along the pipeline. You might want to check into the quality of bandwidth you’re actually getting from your hosting provider. You remember? You use to get that on the old phone lines when there where too many callers on the line, you would hear delays and other conversations going on. Now going VPS will give you more control, you still need to make sure your hosting network is not congested. Try checking the quality of the route to your site.
Aside from misconfiguration, I think that bandwidth issues are high up their on the list of problems with some sites. This not a fact, I’m just guessing because of the features of the script.
Agreed, but how does that explain that video+audio works perfectly on one-on-one IM Windows but on the chat only audio works?

I also posted this problem on Ray expertzzz forum and received a lot of feedback of users having the same problem. But nobody receiceved an answer or a solution from Boonex.
Please Anton, could you have a look on this??
As for my case, I want to make a web conference with all the developers in my community to start off development of our needs in Dolphin. This will flow back to Boonex also!
