The new shoutbox is great, my members love it. But I have run into an issue.
Last night I had a deviant find the shoutbox and started posting hate and racist comments in the shoutbox. SO I blocked that person using the IP ban provided by Anton, that person just changed his IP, created a new bonus account and started up again.
We finally handled him, but the problem I have now is there is no way to clear the Shout Box.
It would be a good idea to have that option in the Base. So when this happens again in the future ( It wil happen again on many sites I assure you) the site owner can clear the screen to keep the users from seeing such a harrassing site.

Hey man whats up? If you have access to your database through something like phpmyadmin or the like, you can open your database, then the ’shoutbox’ table and go thru and delete the entries you want. If you give me a day or so I’ll write up an addon to put into the Admin/Tools list so you can easily view/edit/delete entires in the shoutbox table.
Ok Simion I’ve completed the script for you.
What you need to do is login to the admin panel and then click on the tiny wrench under the “Dashboard”. It will take you to the Admin Menu Compose. You will then need to drag a “NEW ITEM” from the bottom up into your Tools list. From there you will click on the center of the “NEW ITEM” and gve it the Title “Shoutbox Control” and then under url put shoutbox_control.php and click Save.
Then download http://www.deathtrip.org/misc/shoutbox_control.zip and extract the shoutbox_control.php into your Dolphin admin directory. You now see the new Shoutbox Control in your Tools menu and by clicking it will give you the shoutbox data and give you the ability to scroll through it ‘check’ each one you dont want and then hit ‘Delete’.
