Theft

I know it happens … but this is getting a little crazy.

I have someone who posted one of my products for sale on expertzzz… NOT ONLY did he post it for sale, but he is using my EXACT TEXT… And as a slap in the face… he is also using MY DEMO SITE to show it off…

I do not know the person. Never sold to him. so no dought it is another member with a fake account. 

What can we do about this? I would not mind so much as to it hurts those of us who put so much time and effort into the improvments for your sites. I have worked hours upon hours coding to bring this stuff to you. Now this guy wants to take food from my families mouth?

   Yes, I am a little upset. Because this guy is saling MY product and not even trying to hide it.

Yes, I have sent Emails, but in the mean time… he has already sold a couple of them. So what can be done now?

Can I get a little feedback on this? I understand that everyone wants items for free… and I have given items for free. but those of us who make a living doing this and then bending over backwords to give the best service available… you would think that a human being would respect that. But I guess not. But it is a shame.

as I said… a litle guidance?

Security Issue with the shoutbox

The new shoutbox is great, my members love it. But I have run into an issue.

 Last night I had a deviant find the shoutbox and started posting hate and racist comments in the shoutbox. SO I blocked that person using the IP ban provided by Anton, that person just changed his IP, created a new bonus account and started up again.

   We finally handled him, but the problem I have now is there is no way to clear the Shout Box.

It would be a good idea to have that option in the Base. So when this happens again in the future ( It wil happen again on many sites I assure you) the site owner can clear the screen to keep the users from seeing such a harrassing site.

Mail Error

There seems do be a bug in my Email. It is only shows the 1st few words. I have chesked the database, but all it shows is that I has the max set for 4500. Can I get a little help figuring this one out? Mail on the site is pointless without it. Thank you

Simple Mod Request

Hey Team Boonex,

   I think it could be a great idea to add in a ” gift subscription” feature. So members can purchase memberships for other members. I have alot of members that just transfer the money to me and I manually go in and add it. but it would be a great idea, and time saver if this was an active item on the sites.

Server Load

The only real issue I have at this time is the size of the load on my server from the Ray stuff.

I have had to reboot my server 3 times yesterday due to overload. I had 30 people on cam and others surfing the site and the load jumped up to 3.6 and the memory jumped up to 80% causing the Ray server to shut itself off. This can be a big issue as my site continues to grow more and more thanks to this great product and the mods I have added to it.

    My Server is not small either. I am on a dedicated server with dual cores processers, 1 gig ram, 2 Tera bandwidth, 120gig harddrive.

 Do you have a solution for this or is it better to upgrade the server to a larger size?

Ray Chat Feature

There is one feature I would like to personally request. In the chat rooms, it is a big security risk not being able to clear the chats. If you have a member that goes off and starts being slanderous,  spitting profanity, etc… You can ban that member, but it is a good idea to be able to click a buttons and clear the chat room. So that it will be able to save members from embarrassment, and subject the profanities of others.

   it this a possible feature to give the mods?

I saw a screen shot of a function that seems to not be on my Dolphin….

   The screen shot shows ” Who Viewed me” , is this a standard Dolphin feature that I have been able to successfully screw up (like normal) or was this a mod?

ummm help? I have been able to get a nice list of affiliates on my site and they are doing GREAT on referrals. But here is the issue. Yesterday all the affiliate payment amounts was showing, now today… they are gone.

   The affiliate panel still shows the people that was referred to the site. but not the amounts rewarded. Needless to say I have a couple *ticked off* affiliates at the moment :))

 can I get some advice on how to get thier amounts back on their finance pages,

And that sparks another question. I have told my affiliates I send out payment when they get to $x.xx dollors, but how to I make the adjustments to that in the panel to show payment made?

I have been battling with my desktop for a LONG time now and could never get it to load all the features, and I thought it was me doing something wrong. Everyone mentioned above came together last night and repaired it and now my members have the ability to use the GREAT PRODUCT.

Desktop Whoas… am I the only one?

Hey guys,

   I have posted to Victor and Andrey about it, and Igor was on my site fiddling with it ( no change) but I know that they are loaded down, but I really need to get this thing worked out FAST.  The Desktop loads and installs just fine. BUT the IM and Chat will not load… just a constand loading state.

  Also, is there a way to change the Icon instead of a stingray?

one last thing. I want to add other options to it like the Whiteboard. I added it in on the base in the “other” section but nothing shows on the desktop…. is there a step I am missing?

The main concern I have is the IM and Chat not loading….. can someone give me a hand?

Changing passwords

My members are having an issues changing thier passwords on thier account and also when they go in to make changes to thier account that run into that problem of not being able to save, because it is asking for a password and will not allow them to make the changes. Any ideas?

2 issues, cna I get a little advice?

My 1st issue is the photo gallery is not accepting images. I get an error statinge the files could not be moved. Now, I double checked and the sharedimages folder is 777 and images folder is 777, as well as the tmp folder.

  My 2nd issue is the affiliate panel will not allow passwords. Now of course I change my Admin pass by hand long ago, but the affiliate panel will not accept passwords, even if I change them by hand.

 I tried to do the update for the 6.001 patch and got database errors. I am at a loss here. Any ideas?

I finally got all the stuff to register except the video player and the dolphin itself.

on dolphin when i put in the code to register it I get nothing.. just the box clears out.

Also, on the video… when I generate my keys, I get a normal key for the player and not the ad free one. When I go to put that in, it says it is a bad key.

Any suggestions?

I generated my new contrib. Lic. and I do not see a code for the ad free dolphin.

Do I use the free code and then add in the ad free codes for everything else?

Or am I not looking in the right place for the codes.

Seems like every time I go into the base I have to re-register all my widgets, now I am getting
