In ray presence, when you try to click on “message icon” of a member it shows following error.
Page not found undefined?ID=1
- Andrey can you please release the ad free ray + dolphin 6.3 for the people who got licenses.
- Do you have, registration only by invitation, planned in this week?

Hey Andrey I just don’t have words to thank you people…:) This is just such a great product…!!!
Honestly I am very happy wih the product…:) Below are just some of the finding which has not been mentioned yet I think.
Front End:
- In board while creating new board, we can’t use 2 options: Maximum users and Status (editable).
- In classified there is a link logo. What is that for? After clicking that it goes to index page.
- mp3 player doesn’t upload file. Also the small pop-up mp3 player (My music in last beta) option could not be seen.
- In the login box. Can we put forgot me link below “log in” link.
- Could not find friend request log anywhere.
It would be good if we can make following things included in the current version.
- Closed community option. That registration only by invitation, where admin controls number of invitations to be allowed per member.
- Better invitation system, where member can write his own message.
- Editable textbox on the index page.
I think the current beta is a lot better…:) What if we make stable version of this beta before doing major addition to this…

And some bugs which we would appreciate if fixed in today’s built.
. Profile photo upload bug - /media/images/profile/new_directory gets generated without 777 rights.
. After manually changing rights of the directory to 777 profile is not accessible.
. Groups bug - Doesn’t allow photo upload, doesn’t allow accessing groups. Says “Groups.thumb” column not available.
. New link added in the main menu and member’s menu doesn’t work
Anybody if found any other bugs please report in this thread so all the bugs will be listed properly.

I am not able to upload profile photo, not able to access groups, not able to upload group photo… I am able to upload video but not photos…????? I could add new link in the menu but it is not working…

New link added to member’s menu or main menu not working… Check the demo for the “boonex” link I added… Please get us the better and stable menu…
Please give delete option to main links of the main and member’s menu. Its not good when you disable a function and not able to delete the link from the menu. Thats a biggest put off I feel when a member clicks on a link and see the message connection error or something similar.

This is one more point which I feel many had requested different things about.
Index page is very important as that is the first page a visitor sees and makes his initial judgment about that site. So if the administrator gets more options to change the index page as per his needs then I think he will be able to attract more people better. So this thread is about “Index page” functionalities. Post your views on that. You can post what you think should be added or changed from the current Index page.
I think if user login box and flash image rotator also can be added in the composer then that will be better. Administrator should be able to place these two important boxes on the index page as per his liking. I think this will then be the biggest plus point of dolphin.
Also a text box where in administrator can write what he wishes, may be about believes of his site and convey a message to his visitors that will be good. By this he will be able to attract right kind of audience for his site. So in addition to already available boxes this box will do a lot of good for the site I feel.
So people contribute to this very important thread as well. You will be able to see totally different dolphin for everybody, customizable in real sense…..!!!!!

After going through the postings I felt that there are many contributors who feels that menu needs a makeover. So This thread is opened only for suggestions about menu. Please post suggestions or queries related only to “Menu” here.
My suggestion to this will be top horizontally placed main menu and a sub-menu just below that horizontally. You click on the any of the main menu, and the sub-menu will appear below that. Composer of this in admin section can be such that you can edit number of main menus and a group of links related to that. You can shift links, edit them in the same manner as our current composer…
Hoping to see thoughtful and interesting suggestion in this thread… Ride on to it people…!!!

Andrey if you are planning to push this as a social community software as well then I think some of the points below might just be useful.
. Text area on Index page (editable from the admin section) to project the high points or believes of the community, something like Dolphin 5.6.
. More privacy features, like access rights to be set for profile fields, who all can view a perticular field. Messages privacy, like who all can send message to me etc.
. More features for groups where owner of the group will be super moderator and he can add more moderators etc. Something close to orkut or other site’s communities.
. Instead of top menu and member’s menu; main menu and sub-menu options. One of the example can be main menu as a top header and sub menu horizontally just below the main menu. Both editable from the admin section.
. And some more.
There can be different points also, but I could think these first. What do you think?
