I begin this post by welcoming you back. Hope you had a nice time during your holyday while we were busy suffering with the load of bugs you left behind as BoonEx birthday present. So dear Andrey, welcome back on earth!
Dealing with Boonex has never been an easy experience at all. I am a Boonex user for long time and I know what I am talking about. I remember when we were paying $50 a month to get an unprofessional and extremely poor or inexistent support. Support team doesn’t care about you. If you are lucky enough you will get supported 5 to 7 days later. I also remember when Boonex was busy lying to us. Yeah, example: If you pay this you get that, this gives you a discount of x etc. Yes, after paying whatever they say you get nothing from what they promised to you. They will even stop answering your email on the matter. It has happened to me.
Boonex attitude and way of doing business disappointed me too much than I came to the conclusion that People from BoonEx Company are not too serious and lie too much. I completely loose any confidence on Boonex Team.
Then I started wondering why am I still sticking on them if they are not too serious and trustable? I discovered that the reason was I was in love with BoonEx products. Yep you might not believe me but let me confess to you that I love BoonEx products. They are far better than most of Community products I came across on the internet. Congratulations to Boonex Team for the good work. Even those who are leaving Boonex for something else because they have been anointed by some bad chronic Boonex behaviors will somehow regret because I doubt if they will find better than Boonex in the community software industry. People are free to go wherever they want. Those are leaving Boonex for some of the reasons explained in this post I understand them and I don’t blame them. If they think they can be happy somewhere else, I wish them all the best and support them. Maybe I would have done the same in a certain disappointment level.
Since sometimes I decided to give Boonex a second chance. I said we are all human being, we do make mistake and we all have our weaknesses. BoonEx started conquering my heart back with some improvements that were done in its products and services.
But Andry, what you did lately has definitely anointed and disappointed most of us. It is not serious from you at all.
We have been supporting dolphin and ray development day and night since (almost) the beginning of this year by testing it, reporting bugs, requesting good features etc. Our Community sites rely on your scripts. We were all on hold for months waiting for dolphin 6 to restart our businesses.
How can you just release an unusable final version, a full bugs-featured script? Some of the features you promised for this release were not even included. It is not serious from you at all, andrey. It is far beyond any expectation. I have never since such thing on the internet: A FULL BUG-FEATURED STABLE FINAL RELEASE. For God’s sake… Unbelievable but true. You have just killed us making us to loose any confident on you.
The sad part of the story is after releasing those bugs you just traveled for holyday leaving every unfinished behind you. With such behaviors I conclude that you don’t care about your customers or users happiness.
I doubt whether you really traveled to
Kazakhstan or whatever place you are talking about. How can we keep on believing on what you said?
Maybe you just went off this blog to let us talk alone as crazy people, giving us the time to keep on testing your script while you will be gathering bug reports.
Maybe you all went on live. On www.boonex.us where we used to see Boonex staff online, you guyz just disappeared.
Mr VictorT your assistant who was supposed to answer issues reported on this blog while you are away did not show up at all. Common what kinda Business/Company is this?
You will be lying to us if you say you were not reading this blog daily while you were overseas.
Yes SIR you were daily reading everything and you knew things were going wrong with your scripts. You just remain quite probably laughing on us.
And by irony you proud yourself by arrogantly answering us with a quote that you misplaced in this context saying:
“Bugs are always found in software. That’s how the development process works. If dev teams focused on getting every single bug fixed before release, can you imagine how slow software technologies would be progressing? It just doesn’t work that way; nothing would ever be released.”
Common, you must be making fun of us or thinking we are stupid. We are not kids. Lay back your quote!
Bugs are always found in software – Yes, I agree but not tons of bugs they way we found them in a FINAL RELEASE and reported them in this blog. It is RIDICULOUS.
We are talking about a “FINAL RELEASE” not a beta. A Final Release is supposed to be “STABLE” and RELIABLE. Do you think we are illiterate?
Why is the beta stage for? Nowhere in this world to my knowledge you get a stable final release full of bugs. Are bugs a bonus to script features? You have released more bugs than features. You did not even completely test Dolphin 6 in your lab before releasing it. You just throw it like that on the internet… yes… because you believe your script is free, we deserve anything YOU want, the way YOU want it and we are stupid enough to get it as a full bugs-featured version. This is an insult from you and your team.
You have been rushing to catch September 1st. Now all the bugs are released. What is next?
Instead of getting upset or arguing with people in this blog because they are trying to call your attention to the fact that what you did or what you are doing is wrong you should apologize for treating us with no respect, no attitude and no consideration at all. We don’t deserve your wrong attitude and your bad practice on software release and bug issues. Please try to learn more on customer/user relationship. You really need it. By the way, you own us the success of your scripts.
If you were a Boonex Customer or user you could feel how disappointed and anointed we are. We have been supporting your scripts for long time. Yes I do not blame the one who said that it was just a waste of time, You just get advantage of us etc. We are in 2007 and there is a freedom of speech.
I don’t trust you andry and I do not feel secure in investing on Boonex products anymore. It is just like in a jungle where you do whatever you want because you proud yourself to be CEO.
You are handling your business and your marketing in a very deep sophisticated malicious way. (FREE but PAID script version, FREE but license check, Universal ID, Unity Community network ID, $20 Contribution fee, $39 x number of widgets - link removal, $998 link removal, with ads, No ads blah blah blah). You are very unclear. We don’t know what you are doing, what you are thinking, what you are planning etc. I feel insecured. I just feel like we will end up being captured on your net and remaining your hostage forever.
I will not get surprised if you wake up one day and say from now forward Free Dophin, Ray and Orca have been discontinued. People who are running our free software are strongly advised to upgrade to SmartPro that cost $998. How can you trust you andrey?
I know that you guyz are serious workers. I believe on your technical and programming experience. I believe on BoonEx products potentiality and performance. I know that you have to justify or cover your development costs and any other expenses. I understand you need to make profit out of your business. Nobody works for free. We saw you worked hard the last month for dolphin 6. We appreciate it. We saw you free some of product (e.g. Ray) etc but Please Please, Please try to be clear in your thoughts. Let’s understand BoonEx philosophy and plans.
I don’t trust you anymore although I love your products. You are frustrating us too much. It is a Business disaster to loose our (user) credibility and confidence. Think about it. You will realize it very well in the future.
Any successful business needs an element of trust. Yeah, give us the opportunity to trust you. Try to be serious. It is all I am (better said we are) asking you.I will be around keeping on supporting and using your Paid and Free products and services as much as I can. I will also keeping on helping in this blog and forum because I love your products. I know we can help each other.
