RMS Set Up ( URGENT )

I am hosting several dolphin sites and provide RMS for them. My question is how can I set up my customers in RMS without having to edit dolphin ray files along with creating a sep app for each customer. rms.boonex.com does not require editing of files. If I do not add sep app for each customer and edit the files they will all be connected in same chat rooms. This Might be ok for some customers that have dif sites and want a shared chatroom with other sites, but most want their own. How can I get a similar set up as rms.boonex.com where all I have to do is ad the domain to the access.dat file and give them the IP to the server? I have asked you several times and I have not even got a response. Also what is the latest version of RMS and will the new RMS version correct this issue.

Boonex RMS Set Up

Hey,

I would be willing to set up RMS hosting.  But I would need boonex to show me how they have theirs set up so I can just add domain to access.dat file and allow access. I have RMS access available now to my hosting customers but it is a pain to set it up because if all chats for every site are linked together.  I remedied this but for me to offer this service I will need a better set up then just the downloadable version of RMS.

If someone could please get me some help I will offer a very reasonable price for RMS only hosting,

Is there anyway you can tell me what you did to fix this problem?
Here is the reponse I am getting when I try to run ./ray.sh

I have several users waiting for this and we cannot find the issue.
Can you please tell me what we need to do to fix this.

Leadership Starts With A Dream

… and it’s getting closer to reality. Shark, our dream project, is progressing and we couldn’t be happier - a major update is released! Go to 4ppl to look at what’s been done to date.

First, the layout changed to a more up-to-date 1000px canvas, and this change gives a huge number of opportunities, which we’re trying to exploit fully.

In 4ppl (Shark), the navigation is designed as a classic example of usability perfection - simple, intuitive and 100% conventional horizontal double-row menu. On top of it - you get Yahoo-like utility block and BoonEx-first-designed live notifications, which make the site feel like a real walk to a public place :).

The content part is designed with extreme flexibility in mind. In Shark you’ll be able to build pages with different block proportions - 50/50, 100, 30/60, 30/30/30, 60/30, 80/20, etc. The one-size-fits-it-all approach simply doesn’t make it anymore - you can’t have an 80/20 site layout on all pages and be efficient.

Long time no news about 4ppl Free Dating and Shark, but work is going on and in full pace. If interested in very early of Shark future technology - look at the new blogs added to 4ppl a few days ago. After some testing, they will also be added to BoonEx Unity and will effectively replace Wordpress on our servers.

Additionally, we improved 4ppl Friends sections with more contacts importing options and better interface.

Next, we have quite a few plans for 4ppl and changes will pop-up very soon. Stay tuned.

HELP! Ray Chat Problem

Recently I had problems with my RMS and the Video Console function, it has been working for the past week except whenever it loads, it will only stay active for ten or so seconds then it will go back to connecting… and will stay like that untill you try again, which keeps happening, it makes my chat/im/messenger totally useless, is this a script problem or a server problem? Everything is enabled, I have Ad-Free version with a dedicated server/ip

HTML Block/Language Question

Hey,

 I was just wondering if it would be possible, and how lol to create a HTML Block and a Language for say member Account displaying the username appended the url to create an Member Profile URL kinda like myspace, I know this could potentially be a Mod, but it almost seems easy enough for me to do, except I think im entering the wrong code.

 Any Suggestions?

Potential Major Exploit DOS

If a user goes to a Dolphin site e.g.

http://www.boonex.us/xml/orca.php?action=login_user

Attempting to access the site with this URL it causes a process Loop which could be used as DOS attack.

It certainly dragged my server into the gutter.

I would think about fixing this asap. Also as I have potentially saved many people a massive headache would anyone please be kind enough to explain if, how and when MYSQL 5 will be supported by Dolphin particularly ORCA and if anyone has currently got this working?

Attention Andrew:

Let this serve as my final complaint!

This software looks good on the outside but it is full of bugs. I can’t believe we fell for this hook, line and sinker. You got all of us to install it and get members and low and behold you won’t support it. We pay for link removal and we don’t get anything in return for support. I have questions that have gone unanswered for three weeks now. I have over 1000 members and your software doesn’t work and I can’t get anyone to fix anything. There are no manuals or anything. People have to fly by the seats of their pants. You should have never release 6.0 until you fully tested it. Your patch files don’t work either. Just take a look at your forums. It’s full of people complaining that stuff isn’t working. I am severely disappointed Andrew.  This doesn’t make sense. I am now going to have to pay someone to transfer my site to another application.

See Andrew, the problem is that you screwed up. You screwed up by giving your software away for free and now you can’t get your head above water with all the things that don’t work in it. Now you are trying to sell a $1000 package for something that doesn’t work so that you can justify paying your employees. It was a bold and gutsy move. It worked only in the aspect that everyone now has a piece of software that doesn’t work the way it was intended.

I am sorry to have to do this but I can no long support something that doesn’t work. You have cost me money by having software that only creates more problems.

**HELP** HTML Block Question

Hey,

Im trying to figure out how to use the lanuage key function with the HTML Blocks to dynamically display a usernames URL in a block on their Account Page and Profile Page (kinda like the mySpace URL Block).
It will display http://yourdomain.com/yourprofilename in a block in each users account/profile.

If you need a idea of what I mean I created an example here.

If anyone has any Ideas or Comments please let us know, I know this would be a great feature and it shouldnt be hard to achieve, I just need to know the HTML code for the block.

Installation Error.

While attempting to re-install Dolphin (FREE Version) I came across something that has never quite happened to me before, after contacting my hosting provider, they’re proceeding with the installation after they can figure out what happened.

Ive included a screenshot here.

Does anyone know if Mogrify/Convert/Composite Binarys are absolutley required? It gives me the option of still proceeding with installation even though it cannot locate the binarys…

Has anyone else had those files deleted mysteriously? I havent even touched the usr/ directory yet.

**EDIT**-Problem Solved. Hosting Provider had to reinstall ImageMagick.
